Browning of flyleaves and foxing of edges; otherwise a very good copy. Bookplate. Illustrated by 25 pages of colour plates, including frontispiece. An expanded version of the 1894 leaflet on the subject, by William Henry Hudson (1841-1922), Anglo-Argentine naturalist and ornithologist, which also includes extracts from other writers. By Linda Gardiner (1861-1941), Secretary of the RSPB 1900-35 (At the Circulating Library website). With the artwork of Henrik Gronvold (1858-1940), Danish ornithological artist and illustrator.
