Edges foxed and flyleaves slightly; otherwise a very good clean copy. 1957 gift inscription on first free endpaper. One of the Conan Doyle omnibus volume series which reprints the four titles listed above with dates of first appearing as one volume publications in the same order, respectively 1897, 1896, 1903 and 1892. The two Brigadier Gerard titles are collections of humorous short stories featuring the boastful French hussar officer (Green and Gibson, A Bibliography of A, Conan Doyle, p.576).
